Wander Over Yonder

Show Summary

The series follows Wander, an overly-optimistic intergalactic traveler and his steed Sylvia traveling from planet to planet helping people have fun and live free, all against Lord Hater and his army of Watchdogs' evil reign. Lord Hater is the most powerful villain in the universe with Commander Peepers serving as his second in command and leader of the Watchdog Army.

  • Crazy awesome

    Decent entertainment
  • I swear it's for more than just "THEY CHANGED IT NOW IT SUCKS" reasons.

Season one was a blessing in every way imaginable, made me smile and brimming with optimism, and a breath of fresh air in more ways than one. Season 2, well, not so much. It would have been a 10 if it weren't for season 2. That's how bad it is.
  • At least this isn't another corny overhyped sit-com about a teen celebrity or prodigy

While I won't consider myself a fan of this show it is at least a nice change of pace of the oversaturation of Disney shows that are always about some teen or child being a famous star or having some special skill or talent. Finally another original Disney Channel cartoon other than Phineas and Ferb. Hopefully this will send a message to Disney to change its ways and do something differant for a change.moreless
  • Goofy Wacky Brilliance!

I pity those who dislike the show. I love the resemblance to classic wacky cartoons that I watched as a child. I also love how Wander goes around the universe aimlessly, saving the lives of complete strangers, while Lord Hater's plans always go bad because of Wander's benevolence. I cannot imagine how the Disney executives got the idea that we have had enough. Craig McCracken has plans for the show, and he deserves the chance to show it. This show should not suffer the same fate as Firefly and Pushing Daisies, two other TV gems that were butchered by the executives. Save Wander Over Yonder!moreless
  • Creative and Amazing to those who actually understand G writing and animation

to the people who are comparing this to the writers old works... You have grown up... of course its not going to appear as magical to you as it did when you watched powerpuff or fosters. if those shows just came out now you would feel the same way. put away that sentimental expectation if your going to review. Got that off my chest. anywho. as a person in animation classes this show is one of my favorite 2D flash shows. the animation has its moments of budget but covered in the most tasteful and creative ways. when there isn't a budget the animation's flow is crazy eye candy. Its returning the bounciness that animation use to have in older Disney shows. the writing may seem random but the characters all are original and lovable. that is, if you stick with the show to actually know this. every character has a reason, and as stupid and random as an 'evil sandwich' may sound he himself has reoccurrance and reason in the story in the show. The writing is creative. season one focused more on developing characters, season 2 in my opinion developed far better than the first, naturally because at that point you know the characters and seeing them thrown into a plot is most satisfying instead of wandering around at random in episodes. season 2 got story heavy, i couldnt wait for the ideas of season three but turns out disney is canceling the show. its such a shame how people ruin things for others... i hope my review matters some how. this show needs more than 2 seasons if a good story is what you guys want.moreless
