Did you get the colorized version or is it the original black & white version. I like both!

The supplements in the StudioCanal release of season 1 are very critical of the colorised episodes, though a few colored episodes are repeated in the set for the curious. One important change is that Josh's shirt is changed from the original vague brown to the heroic blue color, somewhat changing the tone of the character and the show itself.

Just finished watching the first season and loved it. Whata  good show. It was fun watching McQueen and other actors who would become big stars. Lets hope they do the 2nd and 3rd seasons.

Favorite female co-stars, Mary Tyler Moore and Susan Oliver (also loved Jeanne Cooper).

Okay, I admit it, I am a fan of classic movies and TV. That doesn't mean that I think everything old is classic. Wanted, Dead or Alive was classic. I have all three seasons on DVD and they are great. Steve McQueen, before anyone really knew who Steve McQueen was. I thought the second season with the Wright King character, who became a sidekick from about half way through the season until the end of the season, simply proved that Josh Randall didn't need a buddy. I was happy to see the character disappear in season 3. Tight, well written stories that showed how much could be done in only 30 minutes.

Other westerns of the same calibre were Have Gun, Will Travel; The Westerner; and Lawman.
