  • Huh?

    5.0
Points already raised - no protective gear, totally disorganized casework, no safety precautions taken to protect the public... Another point, though - since when does any cop get to drink an alcoholic beverage while still at place of work?

I started watching this because of Gary Cole, and he is doing a fine job, but I gotta say I'm liking Lee Tergesen even better, for this episode, anyway. We'll see if that lasts.moreless
  • The pilot wasn't too good and I found this episode to even worse. The writers for this show aren't doing a very good job.

    5.9
This was a terrible episode. It was so unrealistic. Many of the things that took place within the story in reality most likely will never happen. No police squad is as unorganized as the "Wanted" squad. They didn't have any of their information together.

The way that the squad went about trying to apprehend 3 of the most dangerous men in the Los Angeles area was unsafe. No squad in real life would've done what they did. They went into the building without helmets and proper equipment. They didn't have the area secured and cordoned off, therefore, endangering the lives of innocent pedestrians. One of the suspects was able to escape.

The suspects were able to kill innocent people that included a little girl after leaving the bank. That writers couldn't find anything better to include in the episode than the brutal slaying of a little girl.moreless
  • More enjoyable than the pilot

    9.7
I have to say I enjoyed "The Wild Bunch" more than the pilot. I love the addition of the Eddie Drake character. He is a riot and blends in well with the rest of the cast. This show continues to be well written and directed. I love the use of different colors lens all Traffic style. The scene where Carla tells the woman to shut up after she was rescued cracked me up.I'm glad we got to see more of Conrad's home life, but for some reason I don't think I could ever see him married to Lucinda, but it's just a TV show. I actually liked the ending where all the gang was at the bar and were laughing then we see Conrad outside looking in and he gets a phone call. I wonder who it was. ;)

Lee Targensen was definitely the standout of this show, but it could have been because he was the new guy and they wanted us to see more of him than the ohers. Or it could have been perhaps he was just better than the others.

Another great episode. I really hope TNT renews this show because I think it's off to a terrific start and deserves another season like The Closer is going to get. I personally like this show better than The Closer.moreless
  • Worse than the pilot.

    3.0
Amazingly enough, this episode was even worse than the pilot. Painfully boring writing, most notably during the scenes with Gary Cole's character and his son. Both the phone conversation and the end of the show scenes were horrible.

The characters in this show have absolutely no chemistry. Every single scene seems awkward.
