    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (1)

      • When Blackwood is telling Norton and Ironhorse why the subliminal music feels so good, you can see a boom mike in the upper left-hand corner of the screen.

    • QUOTES (2)

      • Harrison: When will we face the truth? We've got to stop hurting the aliens!
Ironhorse: Hurting the aliens?! I don't remember invading their planet!
        Harrison: It's not an invasion! Didn't I tell you that? It's self-defense!
Norton: Then were the aliens justified in killing your mother and father?
Harrison: (breaking down) I-I-It was my parents' fault!

      • Alien solider: Hello. This is Billy Carlos' answering machine. He's on tour... And you're not.

    • NOTES (1)

      • The musician, Billy Carlos, whose music is used for the subliminal work is none other than Billy Thorpe who scored the music for the first season of the series. If you notice, one of the two songs we hear of Carlos' sounds very similiar to the show's closing theme.

    • ALLUSIONS (1)

      • Ironhorse: It reminds me of the 60's. You remember? "Paul is dead."
A hoax began circulating in the late 60's that Paul McCarthy of the Beatles was dead, and that proof existed throughout their albums in both the lyrics and on the cover images. However, Paul McCarthy himself later spoke up claiming, "The rumours of my death have been greatly exaggerated." The authenticity of the so-called clues are still debated.
