  • Debbie falls for an alien, Ceetah, while another alien tries to infiltrate the groups hideout.

A tad different from the other episodes. A rare story where the human falls for the alien and the alien doesn't turn out to be bad. Debbie's character didn't get that much to do in second season so I guess the writers wrote this up for her.

A sad tale about love. The alien, Ceetah, is actually a clone of the real human (aliens liked to clone people). Eventually, he's cover is blown but Debbie still believes he isn't a threat.

I like this episode more than the others of the second season even though the ending sucked. You also get one of the first acting appearences of Mia Kirshner playing another alien.moreless

    • (while the Blackwood team battle alien forces)
Debi: They'll never change. It's gonna go on and on.
Ceeto: Yeah, but, one day, we're gonna take their places.
Debi: Are we gonna stop it then, or will we be like them?
Ceeto: You're never gonna be like them.

    • Debi: Why are you out here? Where are the others?
Ceeto: I'm alone. I ran away.
      Debi: Why?
Ceeto: To see your world for myself. I have to make my own decisions.
      Debi: About what?
Ceeto: About your race. You're the only species that kills it's own kind. You're quite imperfect.
Debi: Imperfect? You kill my friends for no reason. You could've just asked for our help.
Ceeto: What would you have done? In our collective memories are images of how you helped us when we arrived. Your military greeted us. If we came to you now, what would you do?
      Debi: (pause) Destroy you.
Ceeto: My leaders would do the same.

    • Kincaid: What's going on?
Debi: What's going on is that I'm gonna spend the rest of my life in a sewer. I hate it. I can't breathe. You know it's true. One day, they'll find us here and then it'll all be over.
      Kincaid: That's not gonna happen.
Debi: Yes, it is! We'll be cloned, burned or have to kill ourselves.
Harrison: Debi, it's not always gonna be like this.
Debi: Don't tell me that, Harrison!
Harrison: I'm not lying to you. But it's not easy on any of us.
Debi: I'd rather live like a normal person for one day than be buried down here for the rest of my life! I won't do it! I'm not gonna end up alone and scared like you, Harrison!
Kincaid: Debi, we're all scared. But if we stay together, we won't be alone.
Debi: Don't tell me how to feel!
