"Woodward and Bernstein didn't need a name."
"Are you trying to tell me you're a Deep Throat?"
The aliens' young cannot survive in the very radiation which keeps the adults alive so they must store the eggs in a cold environment in an industrial ice house. The Blackwood team picks up on this design and set out to keep a new generation of aliens from walking the Earth. Unfortunately, a figure from the past of both sides tips Cash McCullough, Suzanne's ex-husband and investigative reporter, that the team is killing illegal aliens and butts in to compromise the entire situation for all.moreless

    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (1)

      • When Norton is talking to Harrison about the transmissions sounding like baby talk, he looks more slumped forward when the camera is facing him, while looking to be a bit more upright when it's behind him.

    • QUOTES (6)

      • Norton: (to Harrison) I don't even know why I bother to talk to you. You know, I start to think I'm going insane, and then I look at you and I know I'm saner than you are.

      • Advocate Horek: These humans are treacherous.
Advocate Oshar: We'll be doing a great service for the entire universe to kill each and every one of these revolting human beings.
Advocate Xana: Death to all humans!

      • Guard: We cannot explain what has happened to the missing embryo.
Advocate Xana: You idiots! It is clear what has happened.

      • Ironhorse: Mail call.
Suzanne: I'll take one. Present company excluded, of course.
        Ironhorse: Excuse me?
Suzanne: Oh, Paul, why is it my jokes always send you into denial?

      • Cash: Why me? Why not Woodward and Bernstein?
Quinn: Oh, don't get me started on those two ungrateful bastards.

      • Quinn: Just 'cause Mozart had a funny laugh don't mean you can play the piano, wise guy.

    • NOTES (2)

      • Ternary traits: The aliens' mating season is every nine years, and the eggs appear to be in a triangle shape as are the nets they use.

      • This episode marks the second and last appearance of Quinn. All accounts seem to suggest (John Colicos' schedule aside) that the character was to appear again in later seasons. But of course, we all know what happened by Season Two...
