"You're saying we have some kind of half-breed on our hands here?"
"A monster. Half human, half alien."
When an act of biological terrorism set for the ventilation system of a suburban shopping mall falls apart, the aliens flee, one of which is forced to absorb the body of a pregnant woman. Due to the violent integration, the body goes into labour and gives birth to a half-human, half-alien mutant. • TRIVIA (2)

      • In the scene when the child has what is most likely a third (alien) arm moving under his gown, one shot shows him lying on his back with his chest and head facing upwards, but other shots around that have him lying on his stomach with his face looking off to the side.

      • As the alien part of the child dies off, if you look just before the infant appears from within, you can see someone's hand pull back the dead alien body allowing the baby to be brought up to the surface.

    • QUOTES (0)

    • NOTES (3)

      • TV Guide gave this episode a Jeer, using it as a platform to accuse the show of using excess gore and violence instead of intelligent scripts.

      • Once again, Ilse von Glatz is absent from this episode (see also: The Meek Shall Inherit).

      • If you listen, some of the names being called for over the P.A. system in the hospital scenes derive from the names of members of the crew: Doctor Wright, Creative Consultant Herbert Wright; Doctor Skiba, Production Coordinator Nan Skiba; Doctor Gayford, Production Secretary Janet Gayford; and Doctor Murdoch, Production Manager Susan Murdoch.
