A Warehouse 13 Community
Syfy (ended 2014)

Are the March and April pages of your 2014 Hunks of TV.com Calendar looking a little bare (that would be Noel and Cory, if you only have the calendar for the pictures)? Well get out the Sharpie, because Syfy has announced its plans for spring, which means we now have premiere dates for Warehouse 13's final season and Continuum's third. Also coming to the niche network's lineup in the next few months are the debuts of Jim Henson's Creature Shop Challenge and the latest Syfy Original Movie, Zodiac: Signs of the Apocalypse, plus a handful of one-off specials! Let's have a look:

Tuesday, March 4 at 10pm: Carvers (original special)

Carvers follows Ray Villafane and Andy Bergholtz, two specialists who can carve just about anything into just about anything. Using knives, the artists for hire make sculptures out of ice, chocolate, wood, and whatever else their clients request.

Tuesday, March 11 at 10pm: My Big Fat Geek Wedding (original special)

Pretty much what it sounds like. Two self-professed geeks who met online playing Final Fantasy are getting hitched, and they enlist the help of wedding planners to help create the ultimate medieval-themed nuptials.

Tuesday, March 18 at 10pm: Foxy & Co. (original special)

Former Face-Off contestant Eric Fox gets his own docu-series as he attempts to open an effects shop with the help of fellow former Face-Off contestants Nicole Chilelli, RJ Haddy, and Roy Wooley.

Tuesday, March 25 at 10pm: Jim Henson's Creature Shop Challenge (series premiere)

Like Face-Off, but with Muppet/creature design! This eight-episode reality competition tasks its cast  of contestants with creating mechanized creatures, and the winner will land a job at Jim Henson's Creature Shop. Farscape's Gigi Edgely hosts.

Friday, April 4 at 10pm: Continuum (Season 3 U.S. premiere)

Kiera is back for more time-traveling police work, this time with that no-good Alec Sadler on the bad side of things. How is she going to escape the Freelancers? See why our own MaryAnn Sleasman named this sci-fi drama her favorite show of 2013!

Monday, April 14 at 9pm: Warehouse 13 (Fifth and final season premiere)

Syfy says "Later!" to one of its beloved original series as Pete, Claudia, Art, and Myka convene for six series-ending episodes of artifact-hunting before the warehouse closes for good.

Monday, April 14 at 10pm and 10:30pm: Metal Hurlan Chronicles (Series premiere)

This 2012 French series makes it U.S. debut with back-to-back episodes. From the world of the trippy and rockin' Heavy Metal comics, Metal Hurlan Chronicles swaps locations and cast members in every episode as it bounces from planet to planet following civilizations whose future depends on an asteroid. The cast includes Rutger Hauer, Michael Jai White, and Kelly Brook.

April (specific date TBD): Zodiac: Signs of the Apocalypse (Original movie premiere)

A museum curator gets more than she bargained for when an ancient astrology board shows up at work... an ancient astrology board that could DESTROY THE WORLD! Starring Joel Gretsch, Aaron Douglas, and Andrea Brooks.

Warehouse 13 why does it have to end. They keep canceling all the good shows and bringing in reality contest shows. Boring

Reality shows are cheap to make and there is a portion of the population that are not smart enough to know what trash looks like.

"Metal Hurlan" is "Heavy Metal" in French. It's bizarre they did not change the name.

Also, Tim, not every Final Fantasy is medieval (but both online versions are).

I am excited about Warehouse 13 and Metal Hurlan Chronicles. I conitnue to lament the added reality series to the rooster.

I like Warehouse 13 but the writing has been off for 2 seasons. The news of SyFy programming is underwhelming. I used to watch the Sci Fi Channel every day. Even the afternoon reruns of old shows. Then they strayed away from sci fi and changed the name. Now it's reality shows and wrestling. I haven't watched that channel in over 2 months. It's not just SyFy, all of cable tv is doing this. Throughout the 80's and 90's, the cable channels were niche programming. Each cable channels catered to a select few. Now all of cable is running the same programming. I have 3 MTV channels and 2 VH1 channels and none of them play music videos!

This is yet another example of an excellent scifi show that is getting the axe way to early syfy is starting to disappoint me by taking all the good shows off and feeling the space with all this reality crap. if i wanted reality I wouldn't be watching TV. This is suppose to be my escape from reality and its not just the SyFy channel its all of them just like they did to Firefly, except Warehouse 13 at least got a few seasons, where as Firefly was was killed way before it's time just like WH13 because they have barely touched on all the mythology that could be brought in as artifacts. That is all you writers need to do come up with an artifact and what it does and the story will evolve around that.Kirk out.LESS

I will be sad to see the last of SyFy's last original Science Fiction show go. I will miss you Warehouse 13. For you are the last original Science Fiction show. Once you are gone I know I will not be watching Syfy any more.

No Continuum? It's a great show, you should give it a watch.

Not much SyFy anymore. Ghost hunter shows, WWF, makeup shows have pushed out good SciFi away. Remember SG1? Stargate Atlanta, Alphas?

I should probably ask this on tvbythenumbers, but does anyone know if Being Human is predicted to be renewed for another season? The ratings were like a .5 but that might be good for Syfy, not sure...

I'm excited about continuum can't wait, but when I found out that this was the last season for warehouse and it only had six eps left I was in shock it's such a great show, with great characters who doesn't love Pete.

Warehouse turned too girly. Not many men on that show, all the girls killed it for me.

Don't woman want to see men anymore?

:) I agree to some extant more males on the show would be great we girls need someone to look at and drool a little bit, but I like the female leads especially HG she is great.

This is pretty much all terrible news from my viewpoint. Only 6 episodes of Warehouse 13? Reairing Canada's Continuum a month after its already aired up north? Reairing Metal Hurlant which was pretty awful to begin with and has been floating around the internet for almost 2 years now. And then a slew of crappy reality shows, although, I have to admit, the Jim Henson Creature Challenge has me way more intrigued that I should be by a reality series.

Well at least Warehouse 13 is not making us wait a year or more before the final 6 episodes. Syfy never keeps the really good stuff around. So many shows ending before their time.

Yeah Continuum! I am still saying Alec is still being manipulated and is reacting and still has a chance...and will get our Kiera out as opposed to the other iterations which might be a headache for me.

I can't believe it's the final season of Warehouse 13, as if I wasn't already a bit down with the whole 'loner on Valentines Day' thing, this just sucks! I hope they get the great ending they deserve. (And screw you syfy.)

Well, at least now I know how long I have to watch Continuum Season 2 before Season 3 starts - I should probably get on that with that.

Also, Metal Hurlan Chronicles sounds pretty interesting, to be honest you had
me at Kelly Brook (yeah, I know, last two words of the blurb).

Metal Hurlant has some pretty neat ideas, but pretty awful budget and acting, even from some bigger named actors in it. It does have a pretty awesome opening title sequence though!

Looking forward to both Continuum and Warehouse 13. Hopefully the latter has a good ending for the story and characters.

I can't believe they are killing off Warehouse 13. Hopefully they will realize they will realize their mistake and create a Warehouse 14. Same premise, different group of actors, still awesome.

When you say "different group of actors" you do mean except for Claudia don't you? Oh, and Myka obviously. And probably Pete too right? And I take it for granted that Artie wasn't included. And when you "Warehouse 14"...

I hope Saul Rubinek finds more work soon, or he may have to give up his title of Jewiest Guy in Science Fiction.

While I'm sad to see it go, I'm now more worried where I'll get my fix of seeing Allison Scagliotti. Really hoping she has a solid backup ready, especially if it involves scant clothing &/or swimwear!

YES! Do you think Summer Glau could join her on this new swimwear only comedy/drama show that has to happen?
Reply

I have to ask - what is sci-fi oriented swimwear?
Flag
I don't see this upcoming comedy/drama issuing many refusals when it comes to scifi-oriented swimwear.

Actually yea I do mean Claudia. If she inherits Mrs. Frederickson's powers then she would have to move along with the Warehouse. But the rest, sorry.

I can't wait for third season of Continuum.

I'm also very sad that Warehouse 13 is ending. I suspect Myka will die in the series final :(

Happy to see both CONTINUUM and WAREHOUSE 13. Sad that WAREHOUSE 13 is ending with only six episodes.

Hopefully it'll have a stronger core focus this way and not so many artifact of the week type episodes filling up space.
