Warehouse 13

Season 4 Episode 6

Aired Monday 9:00 PM Aug 27, 2012 on Syfy

  • Trivia

    • When Alice sprays gasoline around the car, the gas price sign in the background says 426.9, which doesn't make any sense.

  • Quotes

    • Claudia: Claudia: Artie-o, Artie-o, wherefore art though, Artie-o. But soft, what light through yonder breaks. It is the east, and Dr. Vaness-iet is the sun. Arise, fair sun, and kill the envious moon...
      Artie: Kill? There's a thought.

    • Claudia: I think it's so cute you officially have a girlfriend.
      Artie: She's not my girlfriend.
Claudia: Are you seeing anyone else?
      Artie: No.
      Claudia: Do you want to?
      Artie: No.
Claudia: She's your girlfriend. (with Steve) O-ooh!
Artie: I haven't had a girlfriend since Nixon left office.
Claudia: Oh, well, get thee hence. Go forth and procreate.
Artie: Oh, yes, that's what we want, children.

    • Kristen: I will kill you!
Father Mitchell: She doesn't mean that.
Myka: This should be a fun interview.

    • Myka: Pete, we just need to get inside her head. Figure out her next move.
Pete: I'm not sure "psychopathic nut job" is in my wheelhouse.
Myka: Deep down, she's still a little girl. We just need to think like a child.
Pete: Now that's in my wheelhouse.

    • Steve: Aye, captain. Spock and Uhura out.
Claudia: Nice. I like it when I'm Spock.
      Steve: Oh, you're hilarious.

    • Myka: Oh, look at you, having ideas.
Peter: I have ideas. Most of them are illegal.

    • Artie: Claudia, you keep an eye on the front door by hiding behind that plant over there. Don't let Alice see you.
Claudia: Oh, thank god you said that. Because I was going to jump up and down and yell, "Hey, crazy Alice, look over here."
Artie: You made your point. Thank you.

  • Notes

  • Allusions

    • Pete: She does have that whole Linda Blair head-spinning thing going on there.

Referencing the 1973 movie The Exorcist, in which Linda Blair starred as a young girl possessed by a demon. During her exorcism, she "pukes" pea soup on the priest and her head somehow rotates a full 360 degrees.

    • Claudia: So these are the Pink Panther's calling card?

Referencing the 1964 comedy movie The Pink Panther. The Pink Panther is the world's largest diamond, with a discoloration resembling a panther. The bumbling Inspector Clouseau is sent to protect it from theft only to end up framed for the crime.

    • Steve: Aye, captain. Spock and Uhura out.

Referencing two of the characters from the original Star Trek series. Mr. Spock (Leonard Nimoy) is the science officer and first officer, a Vulcan who practices logic and emotional restraint. Uhura (Nichelle Nichols) is the ship's communication officer.

    • Artifact: ruby slippers
Referencing the classic The Wizard of Oz (1939), starring Judy Garland as Dorothy. Later in the episode, the escaped soul being swept up in a bubble resembles Glinda, the Good Witch, arriving in a magical bubble. Dorothy receives a pair of ruby slippers, which eventually prove the key to her returning home to Kansas. They were silver in Baum's novel, The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, that served as the basis for the movie.

    • Claudia: Silly rabbit. Girl wonders can't be killed.

Referencing Trix Cereal, and the Trix Rabbit, a white humanoid rabbit which is always trying to trick kids into giving it a bowl of Trix Cereal. The rabbit almost inevitably fails, and the kids says, "Silly rabbit, Trix are for kids!" Claudia is fond of the character, as she has made the same allusion before in episodes like "Around the Bend."
