Three Captain's, all with their own merits however, the first one, Commander Mark Nialls, was the best from from my perspective. More balanced, groomed for the job and very experienced for his age.

Edward Kelvin Holt does it for me every time.

I really liked Nialls, wasn't so keen on Brian Marshall's portrayal of the captain although I have always liked the actor himself.

However, Holt was very human as well as being extremely good at his job.... Derek Godfrey played him to perfection... I think his untimely death robbed us of a fine actor.

Glad to know there are others out there who remember my favourite t v show.
