Well, I have been asking for something big to happen recently and boy did we get it. After weeks of Nancy and Esteban just joking around we finally got a nice twist in the end with a surprise that I do not think anybody saw coming. This was probably the first time all season I found myself really eager to see just five more minutes of Weeds, and am just really excited about what happens next with things.

It even got to the point where I was not annoyed by Shane and Silas, something that has not happened this season yet either.

Plus, um, Alanis Morissette naked. Yeah, that alone is good enough for me.moreless

After piecing together a really good episode last time, this one just fell apart into a gazillion pieces. We see a new character, Adelita, who happens to be Estaban's protected daughter. Silas tries to hit on her and fails to push his charm. We get to know a lot about her, like she happens to be intellectual, looking to go to top tier colleges like Stanford or Berkeley, and she's screwing a 32 year old French journalist. Nancy gets all queasy, and starts to wonder if she had screwed up Silas' and Shane's future. I think the Jenji Kohan must be out of her mind to give Celia so much screen time. Here she goes to a new low with her annoying behavior, where she contemplates becoming gay Doug and Dean also disappointed this time with some stupid scenes that can't be deemed funny at all. Nancy's plan to kill Pilar moves forward, when she and Cesar succeed in getting Guillermo transferred to a a Mexican jail.

The icing on the cake was Estaban's arrest toward the end. So essentially, they tried a dramatic buildup to end a seemingly lackluster episode.moreless
