  • The show is grossing me out...

I have started to wonder, if Weeds can ever figure out a storyline that will carry the series forward for another 30 installments. After watching this episode, the likelihood remains grim, though it is possible for the show to stay on air because it's Showtime's network.

Story wise, we see Nancy getting progressively frustrated with her life living like a captive. Andy moves to Nancy's sisters house and starts to make out with her. Doug and Silas get busted by another drug mafia when they are looking for a growing spot. Celia begs Rudolfo to keep her with him. I can't recall a single bit where the script was remotely funny. And the sex scenes are starting to gross me out.moreless
  • Not too terrible.

This was a bit of a letdown given the strong season premiere and promises of this being a groundbreaking year for the program, but I still laughed often throughout and the behavior of the characters was not really out of the ordinary. I think it was a bit early for the show to give us a filler episode, and to an extent this was one, but the main storyline of Nancy's trouble with the Mexican Mafia was advanced, and we got Silas' plan to build a marijuana farm ended (thank God, that had no potential whatsoever).

I will admit that the show seems to be coasting right now, but hey, if they can produce episodes that aren't much worse than this then I will probably keep tuning it.moreless
