Jill pays Nancy a surprise visit. Meanwhile, Celia gets sent back to the U.S., Nancy's bodyguard is missing and Silas and Doug look for law enforcement authorization.
  • Another fine installment - long overdue though...

This one came as quite a surprise. The storyline was flowing well. A very noticeable and good comedy track that ran in parallel with the main story just provided the much needed comeback touch.

Here we meet Sucio, a hygienically-challenged trigger happy hit man, whom Estaban sets a Nancy's new bodyguard. Too bad, he gets murdered in the end. I was hoping for a nice funny 2-3 episode storyline revolving around him. The other plot dealt with Doug and Silas trying to start a medical marijuana business. Elizabeth Perkins had a decent storyline after thoroughly annoying us last season. Weeds has delivered a strong episode. Hopefully, the remainder episodes keep up with the good work.moreless
  • Call me a Weeds fan again.

    7.0
    "Good"
As of this writing this episode has a score of 5.1. 5.1! When I rate an episode 1.9 higher than the average, you know there is a flaw in the system as I am as meticulous and have been known to pule over the writing of this show for some time. But after tonight's episode and a strong three show beginning to this season you can call me a Weeds fan again. Weeds has a direction, it has a purpose and the show is building toward this. There were some funny parts (albeit not as many as there used to be) in addition to the great twist at the end.

I just do not know what more people could want from the show. I left very satisfied.moreless

    • (Nancy's surprised to see her youngest son Shane walk in, then her sister Jill comes in behind him. Sucio points his gun at her, Jill freezes.) Nancy: Sucio, that's my sister. You can shoot her if you want... (Sucio looks unsure. Nancy looks at him and mumbles) Not really. Shane: She banged Uncle Andy. Nancy: You didn't. Jill: I-I-I can do things. Nancy: Oh my God. Shane: She's a screamer. Jill: Will you shut up, you weird little pervert.(Silas covers his mouth in amusement) He was taking pictures and he was going to show Scott. Silas: Oh, good move. Nancy: Shane, You're going back with Aunt Jill. You will keep your mouth shut to her husband and her children about what a nasty whore their mommy is. Is that clear? Jill: Oh no, he's all yours... in so many ways. Shane: Shall I go upstairs and unpack? Jill: Yes. Nancy: No. (Shane and Silas go upstairs)

    • (Speaking to Nancy after they got the news that she needs to take it easy and not stress for the rest of her pregnancy) Esteban: Now, go relax. If I hear that you're not relaxing. There will be consequences. (He considers what he just said and shakes his head as if suddenly realizing that being threatened is stressful)
