Weeds has finally returned after 10 months off the air and while it is definitely good to have the show back, it definitely felt like a disappointing season premiere. I don't want to say that nothing happened, but to be honest, nothing happened.
The episode revolved around Nancy and family deciding to go on the run after Shane murdering the publicist. Why they would do this I don't know, it could have been pawned off as self-defense, and Esteban seemed to be coming around. But that is what Weeds does. The show picks a setting, trouble brews there, and the Botwins move somewhere else.
I have a feeling this may be the last season of this show. It seems to be dragging along and after one last hurrah it would be the right thing to end it.moreless
