Our hero, Josh, is coming to the conclusion that he is barking up the wrong tree with Hope and says as much to the guys. In support, they are going to take him out for a night on the town and help him move on (even though Saul is not convinced - remember he has been sniffing the wrong squirrel for 19 straight years in Raquel Welch). When the bouncer at the night club realizes that Jeffrey Tambor is not Dr. Phil (bet this has happened to Tambor in real life and was incorporated in to the show), they head home where the boys meet the newest (and a very cute, lovely) resident, Heather. Josh decides to ask her out, only to find that his real 'soul-mate' Hope, overhears the invitation.
This series seems to be finding it's pace. Now if they can only stay away from a few of the old cliches they seem to fall back on from time to time. (BTW... this show should be DVR'ed. You will find new, great lines every time you replay it).
(Not for nothing, but it was established a couple of weeks ago that there are, undeniably, a number of 'biblical' names in this series - Saul, Joshua, Jesus (with a 'J', mind you). In this episode, Hope 'thrice denies' Josh as her boyfriend - for those of you keeping score at home).moreless
