Show Summary

Welcome to the Ceilidh was a Scottish variety show that featured traditional Gaelic music. Designed to mimic a ceilidh, which is a Gaelic social gathering, the show featured Stuart Anderson and John Beattie as the hosts. They were supported by a number of musicians who would play a number of famous Scottish tunes. Welcome to the Ceilidh was directed by Arthur Blake and the show featured Peggy O'Keefe and Gordon Cree on the piano. The show itself was produced by Grampian Television and aired for a single season in 1977.
