  • Another stupid teen movie centered around being "popular" and wanting to be Homecoming Queen

    2.0
Exactly what the title says. Allow me to elaborate.

Plot- Some girl is obsessed with being homecoming queen (WHY) and we find out she is some master Kung Fu fighter or some of her ancestors were or something. And I guess she has these dark forces coming after her and she has to defeat them before it's too late.

Music-Nice. That's all I gotta say about it.

Comedy- Bland. Boring. Almost none there.

    Characters- Pretty bland and boring.

This whole movie pretty much just wreaks of stereotypes and boring.moreless
  • I love this movie!

    10
Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior is a really nice movie. Personally, it is one of my favorite movies that I've watched. At first, it seemed appealing because it was centered on Martial Arts (mostly Chinese Kung Fu), and I myself am a martial artist :D. It is also a family movie, that my family and I enjoyed watching on Disney Channel the first time it aired. I mostly liked the plot of the movie- how Wendy (Brenda Song) at first only wanted one thing, and that was to become the Homecomming Queen for her school, and she had a change of heart around the middle of the movie and ends up being really good and talented at martial arts. Like I said, it is personally my favorite movie.moreless
  • Not as good as i thought

    4.7
Okay, so when the commercial came out for wendy wu. I thought that it was gonna be find and exciting. Whats more it had Brenda Song in it. I love her until i watched this movie...

I have to say by far that this is one of the worst Disney Channel Original Movies ever. I mean the main problem for the story is simply stupid. Whats more the relationship between Wendy and Shen? Hello! Shen is totally older than Wendy. They should have given Wendy a best friend whose a guy. Then at least there should be a right relationship. sadmoreless
  • The best movie I have ever seen.

    10
This is the best movie I have ever seen ever.

A great Kung fu highschool oriented movie starring the one and only Brenda Song. If some people say this moie is bad, well I reply Just because this mvie isn't as stupid as putting shirtless people in pools and music which isn't even a good tune like other disney people dosen't mean you should hate this one. I am sure this movie displays great fight scenes and a very entertaining story line. Very funny lines were said. Great costumes and a wonderful cast.

Brenda Song has certainley done well. Bravo.

Wonderful movie an I was happy to watch it.moreless
  • I've seen some pretty bad movies by Disney lately, but this one is almost as horrible as High School Musical

    2.5
The only reason I watched this movie was because I am a fan of kung fu flicks. But Disney shouldn't be making these kinds of movies. I don't doubt that Brenda and Shin have martial arts ability, but this movie did not show that well. The graphics were cheesy, the fighting techniques were simple and overplayed, and the plot was shallow. Why would any martial arts movie be about a girl who is OBSESSED with becoming homecoming queen? Then the last fight was so predictable. There was no reason for it to get a TV-PG rating. There was no blood, and the only weapon used in the movie was a knife Shin threw at the beginning. This DCOM makes me glad we have other movies like Drunken Master, Enter the Dragon, and Hero, or I would've never been interested in the martial arts. At least it's not overrated like High School Musical.moreless
