  • Crazy wanabe cop ain't going to get away with shooting Eric. That's for sure!

When a "cop" picks up Eric claiming to think he's a vagabond instead of booking in at the station he takes him to a strange house, shoots him and buries him alive. Thank goodness for the timely werewolf transformation! Later Eric calls the police station to report a bunch of dead people in a strange house. When he says a cop did it they say no one works here by the name Eric gives him. The man is really a wannabe who never got to live his dream of being a cop so he lives his fantasy and finds potential nobodies, kills them, and buries their bodies in their house. Don't ask me how killing innocent people makes him think he's doing what cops do. That mumbo jumbo that he tells Eric at the beginning is nuts and so I guess the writers just want us the think his nuts. Never mind the back story. Now bounty hunter Rogan actually captures Eric here. After all this time of tracking him down you'd think he wasn't going to let anything stop him from bringing Eric in but no. Eric convinces him to follow the cop who has just found another victim. This time a girl. When they go to the man's house of course the girl is still alive. We get some crazy excuse about her fainting. It was fast with Eric's shooting. I think he would have shot her already, fainting or not by the time Rogan got there. Rogan fights the man and Eric frees himself from being shackled to Rogan's truck just in time to stand in a perfectly lighted doorway with perfectly tasseled hair and a spooky expression on his face. Not to mention the chains from the shackles hanging from his hands. He's just like a young ghost of Jacob Marley come to take the crazy man who's just knocked out Rogan and is now staring at Eric like he's just seen well a ghost! When Rogan comes to Eric is gone (I assume0 and the crazy man has gone more crazy, huddled and staring into space. Last, we hear Rogan's voice telling us the man went to an mental ward and only says why all the time. Telling us and not showing us. It would have been a better way to end it with a closeup of the crazed man in a straight jacket saying why over and over again. Oh well, to each his own.moreless
