I loved this episode. It was one of the best shorts that aired on What A Cartoon. It is about a waiter named Yuckie Duckie who works at a cafe called Greasy Gallery Cafe. In this episode we see him try to serve a man a sandwhich with chesse that really stinks and the man can not eat it. We also see a woman that wants a stake but it is to hard to cut through and Yuckie Duckie trys to cut through it using 17 different objects. At the end Yuckie Duckie is turned into duck soup for ruining the womans meal when he blows up her stake.moreless
  • One of the earliest and the best What a Cartoon! shorts.

Short Orders was the first short with Yuckie Duck. In this cartoon, Yuckie Duck (voiced by Bill Kopp) is a waiter in a restaurant. At first, he has to give a customer (voiced by animation researcher Earl Kress) a limburger sandwich. It smells so bad that the man doesn't eat it.

Dora, a lady in the restaurant asks for a steak. When Yuckie brings a steak, it is very hard to cut. He tries to cut it with a fork, a sword, a drill and many other things. When he tries dynamite, it explodes in Dora's face.

Dora yells to the restaurant manager that the waiter (Yuckie) ruined her dinner. The manager then says that the restaurant will give a replacement dinner for her free. And she orders some... duck soup!!!

This cartoon is a very good debut cartoon for Yuckie Duck and because of its success, it got a sequel called "I'm On My Way" that had Yuckie as a paramedic. Unfortunately, these two were the only cartoons to feature Yuckie Duck.

This, along with Ventura's Sledgehammer O'Possum and George and Junior cartoons and Eddie Fitzgerald's "Tales of Worm Paranoia", is one of the greatest What a Cartoon! shorts.moreless
