  • Jeff hires Holly at the restaurant, but regrets it when Holly scares away customers and causes the chef to quit.

Jeff should be lucky that Holly caused the chef to quit. He put the weirdest ingriedients in his food. There's no way I would eat walnuts in my spaghetti. Some of the things Holly did to scare away customers was funny though. Like when she put pepper on a customer's food, and the cap fell off XD That was funny. When the chef walked out, Holly came up with the idea of omelet night. She, Jeff, Val, and Gary all made the omelets and catered to the restaurant. Problems arise, however, when Gary loses a bandaid and thinks it fell in the food, and when Holly catches the kitchen on fire and her new expensive sweater gets ruined.moreless
  • The title explains it all...

This episode was a classic because Holly's first job is something to be marked in WILAY history before it came a show about love life & relationships. The best about this episode is how Holly's sweater fits in to the plot. Anyways I like how she comes back for the long haul while everyone hated her working there, I also like how she spilled everything. Omelet Night was a success, that storyline with Holly's cooking was an amazing way to save the day. While the B plot was just annoying with Gary annoying Val with his music. "This isn't musical emergency" Anyways this episode is one of the best of the series.moreless
  • Funny!

Holly decides to get a job. She asks Jeff if she can work at his restuarant. He says yes. On her first day, she does terribly. All the other employees don't like her. She knows that she didn't do well, so she quits. Jeff is happy! Val encourages her to never give up, so Holly tries again, to Jeff's horror. When Holly insults a chef's work and says that Jeff said it too, the chef and his team quit, leaving Jeff and Holly alone with the waiters and waitresses. She decides to just make omelets. Gary is trying to win Val over with his music, but she hates it. Holly calls Val and Gary over to help.

This episode was funny, especially with Gary and Val! I recognized Arwin from the Suite Life of Zack and Cody. This episode gets a 9.5 out of 10!moreless
  • The best!

Out of all of season one, this episode is my favorite. Picture clumsy, akward Holly (played by one of the funniest actresses today... Amanda Bynes) being employed by her sister's boyfriend. If this doesn't sound funny to you, just imagine throwing in that this job is at Jeff's reasturant. Holly manages to make a mess of things: losing lobsters, dumping pepper all over peoples plates, trying to pour water and accidentally spilling it, but my favorite part was when she tried to explain the menu to a couple that didn't speak English! (**Rosoto**) Bottom line... Amanda Bynes is hilarious and this shows plot really shows that.moreless
  • First job?

If the waitress was her first job, why did she work at Copy That at the beginning of the series? Were these episodes aired out of order? Anyway, I enjoyed this episode very much. Amanda Bynes is very funny, not to mention very hot. This episode may not be very original, but the charachters' interactions make it a very funny episode. Now I need more words to make this review 100 words long, so I am adding this part at the end, even though my review was over a whole paragraph ago. Still confused about the order of these episodes, though.moreless
