Finally we get some true emotion, with which I got to say was terrific acting on Jennie Garth's part. On one side, we have a very humorous plot on Holly & Vince's side. Sure, it was just another relationship problem but it was very funny overall. Vince not wanting to shave, and Holly trying to manipulate him. The group dynamic wasn't the best in this episode, but everything else made up for it. Gary becomes the manager of the bakery which is definite development. Lauren competing with him was hilarious. After Val's confrontation with her father, she decides to ask Vic out, but when she doesn't want to admit that they're dating. Vic comes to their date at jazz night with annulment papers and a lawyer. While waiting for the lawyer, Val has to step outside. Then Vic goes outside to share a last dance while Tina is singing. Everything just went together so perfectly. Once it's time sign the papers, Lauren saves the day by dropping champagne all over the papers. Finally Lauren becomes useful for something. It was just a well constructed episode with true emotion that put aside all my doubts on this season as a whole.moreless
  • Val asks Vic on a date, but things don't go as planned, so he brings his lawyer in to sign annulment papers.

This episode was great, but there were bad parts to it. For example, Holly is getting really whiny! She doesn't like it when things go her way, and she always has to boss Vince around to make him do what she wants him to do. The shaving of the legs strike was funny though XD I liked Val's part in the episode better. She asks Vic on a date, but gets upset when he asks her for another. He realizes he can't force her to love him, so he brings his lawyer in to sign the annulment papers. Lauren spills champagne on the papers, and they don't get signed XD Way to go Lauren!!! XDmoreless

Holly: (about growing out her hair) Sure, it's short and stubbly now, but wait 'til it gets long and soft. Ooh, ooh, ooh, this'll be fun! Where else can I grow out my hair? (points to underarms) Lauren: (to Val) What do I have to do to get to the same position as Gary? A little nookie with the owner? (winks) I'm a woman, I know what you like.

Vince: You going to keep your hairy legs?

Holly: Yeah, why not! I mean the world loves the fur!

Not a bad episode. The final season is still cool, even though it shouldn't have ended.moreless

It's Jazz Night at the bakery. Holly is bothered by Vince's facial hair, so she tries to manipulate him to shave it off. Gary is put in charge over Lauren, so Lauren tries to win him out. Val asks Vic out, but when he learns that it's to see whether or not she would like him, he gets mad. He gets his lawyer so they could sign the anullment papers like Val wants, but Lauren ruins it and they must stay together a little while longer. Val seems to like Vic. Vince gets his shaving only half done when he learns that Holly manipulated him. She says that she'll try to change. Tina sings that night.

This episode was good! I like Vic, he's a good husband. Tina is a pretty good singer! This episode gets 8.0 from me!moreless

FILTER BY TYPE

  • TRIVIA (1)

    • When Holly is apologizing to Vince, right before she says "no siree" the camera angle shows very little hair hanging down onto her back. Afterwards, there is noticably more hair hanging down onto her back, and it's much straighter.

  • QUOTES (4)

    • Lauren: Hey Gary. That little band of yours sure could use a singer. Too bad she got re-routed to Connecticut. (laughs)
Gary: Oh Tina, um te-ten bucks an hour, you sing?
      Tina: Fifteen!
      Gary: Seven.
      Tina: Yes!

    • Holly: (about growing out her hair) Sure, it's short and stubbly now, but wait 'til it gets long and soft. Ooh, ooh, ooh, this'll be fun! Where else can I grow out my hair? (points to underarms)

    • Lauren: (to Val) What do I have to do to get to the same position as Gary? A little nookie with the owner? (winks) I'm a woman, I know what you like.

    • Vince: You going to keep your hairy legs?
Holly: Yeah, why not! I mean the world loves the fur!

  • NOTES (1)

  • ALLUSIONS (2)

    • Holly: Hey, Chia boy!

She's referring to Chia pet. It's a toy where you can grow plants on different sculptures.

    • Holly: I just didn't want you to look like the father in Everwood!

She is referring to the WB's drama, Everwood, in which the father, played by Treat Williams, does have a beard.
