  • A classic rivalry episode.

Lauren is introduced in this episode, also Vic. These two characters really develop through the show & this episode is their firsts. Lauren, ahh Lauren, I like how she was introduced as a deceiving backstabber, I like how she bribes Vic with cigars, then Holly wants to stoop too her level but Val doesn't so she gives Vic court side tickets to a basketball game, saying they were from Val, then Lauren gets her back worse, so Val agrees to stoop to her level so she finds out she went to prison but doesn't go through ratting her out in the end. I knew she wouldn't do it & she got the job as assistant manager!moreless

Holly substitutes as Val's assistant when her regular assistant takes a vacation. A promotion is up for grabs and a new girl, Lauren, is determined to get it at all costs. Holly tries to get Val to play dirty, so they come up with a plan. Val is all for it until Lauren seems sad and is about to quit. Val then decides that the plan is no good and she apologizes to Lauren. Val ends up getting the promotion! Gary sees a sideshow and is disturbed about the guy who ate hair.

This episode was really funny! It was really funny! I liked when Lauren said "Super!" I don't know why, but that was hilarious! Gary was pretty funny too! This episode gets a 10 out of 10!moreless
