  • Quotes

    • Gary: Why did Holly keep grabbing on to you throughout the whole movie?
Vince: She was going for my junior mints.
Gary: Well she wasn't going for my junior mints.
Ben: I dated her for six months and she never even touched mine.
Vince: (staring up at the sky) Thank God!

    • Holly: And I'm going to need these cucumbers. (pulls the cucumbers off Tina's eyes)
Tina: Wait, they have green mud all over them!
      Holly: Or...a lovely avocado dip!

    • Lauren: You know, sometimes men who have no personality make up for it in the nether regions.

    • Vince: (to Holly) Are you insane? I've been living like a monk trying to get you to trust me.

    • Ryan: (about him and his dad's day at the zoo) It was so fun! We went to the zoo, and we saw orangutans fighting!
Ryan's Dad: Oh, no, son. They weren't fighting!
Lauren: (muttering to herself) Man! Even the orangutans are gettin' it!

    • Holly: (about the invitations to Vince's "surprise" party) You got the invitation, didn't you, Tina?
Tina: (playing along) Yep. Totally got it.
Ben: Of course she got invited, she slept with him, for God's sake!

    • Val: (on the phone with Lauren) How's Ryan?
Lauren: (nervously) Uh...Ryan? Oh! The kid! He's fine. He beat me in cards five times! (to Ryan, who's mopping the bakery) Hey, loser! Put some elbow grease into it!

    • Lauren: I babysit all the time.
Val: Yeah, when exactly do you babysit?
Lauren: Oh, ok, well, not so much babysat as I dated a guy who liked to get spanked.

    • Holly: Hi, I'm Holly!
Rikki: (to Vince) You bad boy!
Holly: (to herself) Nice to meet you too, Holly.

    • Lauren: Do you think his daddy likes blondes?
Val: I know he does; he asked me out!
      Lauren: Bitch!

    • Holly: (singing) Everybody! For he's a jolly good fellow. For he's a jolly good fellow. Would Tina meet me on the patio? Everyone just talk amongst yourselves!

    • Ricky Don't Lose That Number In a very indirect way, this episode references the song, "Ricky, Don't Lose That Number" by Steely Dan (1974). Vince runs into a girl named Rikki who had apparently given him her number but he never called. He has trouble recalling her name, and when he finally says "...Rikki?", she says "Yes! Did you lose that number?", which is a lyric from the song (and clearly, the title).
