  • Holly and Val believe Jeff will propose on Valentine's Day. Holly goes on a double date with Henry for Gary.

    8.5
This episode was hilarious! Holly catches Jeff looking through Val's jewelry box and jumps to the conclusion that he will propose to Val on Valentine's Day. She promises not to tell Val, but she does anyway. Gary starts dating a girl who loves Valentine's Day more than any other holiday, but he is chagrined when he realizes he has no romantic bone in his body. To help his anxiety, Holly is forced to double date with him. Henry just happened to listen in and solved her date dilemma by agreeing to be her "date." Henry turns out to be the real romantic while Gary blunders his way through dinner and turns everything romantic into comedy. Jeff doesn't propose to Val, and, in his defense, claims he never plans to marry. This hurts Val to the extreme. At this point, Holly and Henry are now dating.moreless
  • The episode before the breakup.

    10
This was a very special episode. One: Because it is Holly & Henry's first date, the episode after, they they start dating & going steady. Two: This is the episode where practically Val & Jeff breakup, just because Jeff wasn't committed to marriage. Through all this sadness, there is some happiness like Gary's running gag of the Pooping Moose & him not being romantic, I love Henry's dump story! Kt was amazing how romantic he was, also I love how Val was struggling to find the ring in the food, then she throws up, Jeff's reaction was hilarious, as well as Holly's. Probably one of the best episodes of the season.moreless
  • I liked it a lot!

    9.5
Holly gets the impression that Jeff is proposing to Val on Valentine's Day. She tells Val and they get excited! Gary is afraid that he isn't romantic enough for Jill. He asks if Holly could double-date with him. Henry, an eavesdropper, offers to be Holly's date. She says only as friends. He gets really excited! Val is a little nervous about getting married. On the date, Holly seems attracted to Henry. Before Jeff has time to even pop the question, Val has to barf. Holly finds out that Jeff isn't proposing and he got her earrings instead. Holly tells Val. Gary talks to Jill about how he isn't romantic. She tells him that she really likes him. Val and Jeff get into a fight when he says that he doesn't want to get married.

This episode was great! I like Henry! He's awesome! This episode gets a 9.5!moreless
  • Really emotional, well written and plotted by the writers.

    10
This is the first episode of \"What I Like About You\" that I think is wonderful and great. This was actually the very first episode that I\'ve watched for this show. And because of this episode, I became a fan of the show.

This episode, \"Valentine\'s Day\", was really appealing, tempting, emotional (of course) and awesome.

It was definitely well-plotted and well-written. The show is going to be a hit TV sitcom!
