      • This episode was preempted from its normal viewing rotation on Saturday, January 21, 2006 for a two-day GSN tribute to Shelley Winters, who had passed away on January 14, 2006. - agent_0042

      • While there already have been videotaped episodes of WML, going back to 1959, this marks the beginning of a new procedure at Goodson-Todman. From here on, until 1967, almost all of the summer episodes were prerecorded to give the panel two months off for vacation. This practice would continue for the rest of the show's run. - ymike673

      • GSN did not air this episode on January 21, 2006. Instead, they aired the first day of a two-day tribute to Shelley Winters, who died on January 14, 2006. Shown instead was "WML?" EPISODE #243 of January 30, 1955, on which Miss Winters was a mystery guest. For the tribute, "Beat the Clock" was also preempted by GSN, and this "WML?" episode was immediately preceded by a "Steve Allen hosted" episode of "I've Got a Secret" from May 30, 1966 on which she appeared as a guest celebrity. - W-B

      • This episode was prerecorded. From Gil Fates' logs, we know this episode was taped on April 30, 1961.

      • Panel: Arlene Francis, Abe Burrows, Dorothy Kilgallen, Bennett Cerf.

      • The McGuire Sisters are Christine, Dorothy and Phyllis. (They are listed by both their individual names and group name so their appearance will be listed in their respective databases.)
