      • "THAT MAKES IT 584 DOWN AND 292 TO GO": With tonight's episode, "WML?" has reached the two-thirds mark in the total number of episodes in its 17.5-year-long weekly network run of 876 episodes, though no one connected with the program knew it at the time. - W-B

      • This was a great night for the panel, especially the distaff members, as they pretty much had a perfect evening. Dorothy got things rolling when she guessed that Roger Maris (not the slugger) of St. Petersburg, Florida was a fishing boat captain. Prior to the game, Maris said that he did meet his more famous namesake when the Yankees were in Florida for spring training. In the second game, Arlene was given credit for guessing that the contestant from Delhi, India dealt in "monkey business." For the record, his correct occupation was monkey exporter, meaning that he exported monkeys for use in zoos or hospitals, and in some cases where legal, for use as pets. In the mystery guest round, Arlene also made the correct identification of comic legend Joe E. Lewis. Joe was on the show to promote his current engagement at the Copacabana. He also brought up his future engagements in Las Vegas. Upon exiting the stage, it was cute to see him kiss Arlene and Dorothy. Those kisses were well-deserved as the girls proved to be the stars of the night. - Sargebri

      • FLIP REPORT: Overall, this was a good night for card-flipping. John flipped all the cards for the first challenger after Dorothy guessed the occupation at seven down. He flipped them all at four down after Arlene figured out that the second challenger was involved with monkeys, but she joked that his exact occupation was "monkey business." - agent_0042
