Obviously, this episode was not lost, but perhaps it should have been. Lowell Thomas, trying to be vague in answers and disguising his voice, was dreadfully boring. Same for Van Cliburn. Not a keeper in this storied franchise!
Obviously, this episode was not lost, as it was aired last night. However, perhaps it should have been. Lowell Thomas, in his efforts to be vague in answers and disguise his voice, was a dreadfully boring first guest. The same thing could be said of Van Cliburn. The lady juggler who hung by her hair 75 feet above the ground was the only saving grace of this episode. I don't think I have ever been more disappointed with a WML episode. Not a keeper in this storied franchise! Well, save the intro, though, because Bennett's pun was actually cute about "the Gaul Stone."
