    • HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!!! This was Father's Day 1964, but it was a "mother of three" who stole the show as Dorothy had a great night. In fact, Dorothy had such a great performance that if it had not been for guest panelist Marty Ingels, she probably would have had her own personal perfecto. In the first game, Dorothy correctly guessed that the 77 year old grandma from Toronto, Ontario, Canada was a chiropractor. In the second game, Dolly Mae also was successful in guessing that the young lady from Ohio was a motorcycle saleswoman. For the record, she and her husband owned a Honda dealership. In the mystery guest round, the "Dorothy Express" was halted when Dorothy passed her turn to Marty, who then correctly identified longtime Jackie Gleason sidekick Frank Fontaine. Marty identified Fontaine by his character name of "Crazy Guggenheim." Frank was on the show to promote his engagement at the Royal Box at the Americana Hotel. Also, since it was Father's Day, John questioned Frank about his family, specifically his 11 children. Frank said they were all fine and that one of his sons was now a Marine. That was definitely a nice way to end the Father's Day edition of WML. - Sargebri (2006)
