    • REVIEW: This was a pretty good night for the panel. Bennett was able to guess that the first contestant was one of the Queen's Beefeaters. Much in the same vein of Frank Sinatra's "drinking" jokes of the previous episode, Steve Allen made a joke about Beefeaters Gin during the post game conversation. He stated that the Beefeaters could get all the gin they wanted. Unfortunately, the panel didn't guess the second contestant who was a frog hunter. Angela Lansbury was fun during her turn as mystery guest. Pia Lindstrom successfully identified her, and Miss Lansbury immediately mentioned that her first film role had been in the classic 1944 film "Gaslight," playing opposite Pia's mother Ingrid Bergman. Lansbury mentioned meeting Pia as a little girl at that time, and doubted that Pia would remember her. Pia was born in September 1938. John mentioned that Lansbury was nominated for an Oscar for her role, but didn't win. Several years later, Miss Lansbury would become a frequent bridesmaid when it came to the Emmy Awards. She would be nominated an incredible 14 times without winning, for her most famous role of mystery writing sleuth, "Jessica B. Fletcher," in the classic 1984-1996 series "Murder, She Wrote." However, she did win a Tony Award for her portrayal of Broadway's favorite "Auntie Mame." Ironically though, Angela Lansbury was passed over in favor of Lucille Ball for the title role of "Mame" in the disastrous 1974 film adaptation. In the 1996 book which was also revised in 1999, "The Worst Movies of All Time: Or, What Were They Thinking?" written by Michael Sauter, this movie is listed among the worst films ever made. - Sargebri (2004)
