      • This is the first consecutive episode (of three) in this stretch where the kinescope copy has been lost to history, given the fact that EPISODE #856 of April 9, 1967 and EPISODE #857 of April 16, 1967 are both also lost. - W-B (2008)

      • Mystery guest duo Sid Caesar and Imogene Coca were on the show to promote their upcoming CBS special, "The Sid Caesar, Imogene Coca, Carl Reiner, Howard Morris Special," which reunited the key cast members of the 1950-1954 NBC-TV series "Your Show of Shows" (and much of their writing staff, including "YSOS's" head writer Mel Tolkin) in an attempt to recapture the magic of their earlier effort. The program, which aired on April 5, 1967, won an Emmy for Outstanding Variety Special. The broadcast date was verified in the "What's on TV" section of Time magazine dated April 7, 1967. In the 1980's, Miss Coca would land the role of "Aunt Edna" in the "National Lampoon's Vacation" series of movies. - W-B (2008)

      • Immediately prior to tonight's live broadcast, the future EPISODE #872 of August 6, 1967 was pre-taped. - Suzanne (2004)

      • Per Gil Fates' handwritten logs, no kinescope of this episode exists. It was accidently destroyed. - Suzanne (2004)

      • Panel: Arlene Francis, Steve Allen, Jayne Meadows, Bennett Cerf.
