  • Trivia

  • Quotes

  • Notes

    • (1) This is the second consecutive episode (of three) in this stretch where the kinescope copy has been lost to history, given the fact that EPISODE #855 of March 26, 1967 and EPISODE #857 of April 16, 1967 are both also lost. In addition, this was Soupy Sales' last appearance on the CBS "WML?" The next time he appeared on the show was as a regular panelist on the color syndicated daytime incarnation which ran from 1968 to 1975.
      (2) Because this prerecorded episode is lost to history, it is not known if the "And now, from New York..." wording is used, or if the program's origin was left out of the intro. - W-B (2008)

    • A "summer tape" was run this week instead of the usual live show due to an AFTRA strike. (American Federation of Television and Radio Artists) Per Gil Fates' handwritten logs, "This program was actually a pretaped show that was supposed to run during the summer of 1967. Due to the then-current AFTRA performers strike, it was pressed into service on April 9, 1967." - Suzanne (2004)

    • Per Gil Fates' handwritten logs, no kinescope of this episode exists. It was accidently destroyed. - Suzanne (2004)

    • This episode was prerecorded. From Gil Fates' logs, we know this episode was taped on March 5, 1967. - Suzanne (2004)

    • Panel: Arlene Francis, Tony Randall, Susan Oakland, Bennett Cerf. This is Sue Oakland's next-to-last appearance.
