      • MYSTERY GUEST: This episode marked the only "WML?" appearance of French-born actress Denise Darcel, in an episode that, as was typical of this 1950-1952 period, no longer exists. A month after tonight's show, Miss Darcel appeared as "Dorianne Gray" in the movie "Young Man with Ideas," in which she starred with Glenn Ford and Ruth Roman. She is probably most famous, however, for her role as "Denise" in the 1949 WWII film "Battleground." - W-B (2008)

      • Bobby Darin is often accidently listed as a mystery guest on this episode. The error is based on a typo in Gil Fates' 1978 WML book, in Appendix A of mystery guests.

In the mystery guest index, Bobby Darin's name follows Denise Darcel's name, and both show an appearance date of 4/13/52. Denise Darcel was indeed the mystery guest this evening. Darin was only 16 years old in 1952 and didn't have a hit on the charts until 1958! Therefore, the typo is certainly in error. - Matt Ottinger (2004) and Suzanne (2004)

Over its 17.5 year run, Bobby Darin did appear 5 times on WML as follows below. - Suzanne (2004)

EPISODE #516 of June 5, 1960 as a mystery guest

EPISODE #553 of February 26, 1961 as a mystery guest

EPISODE #642 of December 9, 1962 as a mystery guest

EPISODE #699 of February 9, 1964 as a guest panelist

EPISODE #749 of January 31, 1965 as a guest panelist

      • Per Gil Fates' handwritten logs, no kinescope of this episode exists. It was destroyed by CBS before Gil Fates noticed the destruction policy in 1952 and began saving the kinescopes. Only about 10 episodes exist from February 1950 to July 1952. - Suzanne (2004)

Panel: Dorothy Kilgallen, Bennett Cerf, Arlene Francis, Hal Block.
