"Where Did it Come From?" is a show that honors its title. Starting in the present, it poses the question the show is named for and then takes you right back through history to the point whatever is being discussed began. It makes a thorough examination of the subject, follows the various paths of how a specific technology or thing evolved and often even discusses what those things, in turn, helped to create.

The show is really good. It has a news magazine style and, like other popular shows, uses modern engineers to recreate the technologies of the past using modern techniques and materials. It is very engaging and presented in a way that all ages can enjoy. It is, perhaps, one of the best shows of its kind to ever appear on TV and I highly recommend it.moreless
