The episode was a bit sub-par in my opinion, especially in comparison to the normal genius level work the White Collar writers and producers bring every week. White Collar is definitely one of the most fun, witty shows on cable these days, but this episode didn't highlight it. Even if you forget about the boring plot line, I think Elizabeth is portrayed too one dimensional; this El-centric episode gave the perfect opportunity to break away from her devoted wife role and give her more depth but the writers didn't take the challenge.
I was also left with this burning question throughout the entire episode (probably because the episode itself didn't entertain me enough to quickly forget about it): Ben had a "highly illegal lock pick set" -- Are there different levels of illegal? And are there legal lock pick sets? If so, where can I pick one up?
