  • Trivia

    • DRAUPNIR , the password for the website Neal and Mozzie use to keep watch on the treasure, refers to a gold ring possesed by god Odin, which had the ability to multiply itself: Every ninth night it would produce eight rings, all identical to the original.

    • Mozzie's suggestion that "Sally" be short for "Salieri" is a reference to the fact that his own name is short for "Mozart." Antonio Salieri and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart were 18th-century composers, colleagues, and occasionally rivals. Their feud was most famously fictionalized in the 1979 play and 1984 film Amadeus.

  • Quotes

    • Neal: Do you remember when I was staying at Palazzo Sasso, in Ravello, and you had Europol closing in?
Peter: No. You were in Ravello?
Neal: Right after the Corsica heist.
Peter: Oh... I had no idea you were there. I had Europol leak that we were getting close so you'd keep moving.
      Neal: You were bluffing.
      Peter: Yeah.
Neal: So I could have stayed there.
Peter: Yeah, I guess you could have.

    • Neal: These past few days... They remind me of Palazzo Sasso, they've been perfect.
Sara: You're really hung up on that hotel.
Neal: It wasn't just a hotel. It was a time of my life when I had everything I was looking for. Freedom, excitement, comfort, and the right people to share it with.

    • Peter: (reading from the report) Two dozen Fioravanti suits and twice that in Valentino dresses... matching red and black Rolls Royce convertibles. This sounds like the world's most expensive date.
Diana: You think Dupont has a partner with expensive tastes?
Peter: I think I have a partner with expensive tastes.

    • Sarah: You and Mozzie certainly don't care very much for authority.
June: Let's just say it's an acquired distaste.

    • Neal: Peter, there is an explanation for all of this.
Peter: You thought you'd spend the money to lure Dupont out of hiding?
Neal: I love how we're always on the same page.
Peter: We're not on the same page. We're not in the same book. We're not even in the same library!

    • Peter: I remember when Elizabeth moved in.
Neal: No, no. This is temporary.
      Peter: Yep. So was El.

    • Mozzie: Oh, Sara. Hello. Welcome.
Sara: I hope we didn't interrupt you.
Mozzie: I was, um... looking at porn.
Sara: At the dining room table of someone else's home?

    • Sara: Did you miss me?
Mozzie: Uh, Sara, Neal and I were discussing your predicament. And I would like to offer my assistance.
Sara: So you want to get rid of me.
      Mozzie: "Po-tay-to," "po-tah-to."

    • Sara: We are talking about international bank fraud, federal grand larceny, synthetic identity theft --
      Mozzie: Don't forget conspiracy.
Sara: Okay. All in hopes of convincing some psycho to come after us?
      Mozzie: Concisely stated.

    • Peter: You're late. Why?
Neal: I'm at the bank, helping Sara out.
Peter: Ah, domestic partnership. Hey, does she make you iron your shirts in the morning?
      Teller: Mother's maiden name?
Neal: Uh, Mitchell. (to Peter) Elizabeth has to make you iron your shirts?
Peter: If I'm wearing a jacket, you can only see the middle.
Teller: Street you grew up on?
      Neal: Uh, Portage Avenue.
Peter: Who are you talking to?
Neal: I am with the bank teller. Did you call to find out if my shirt has wrinkles?

    • Sara: What were you reading back there?
Mozzie: Oh, the court issuance from Watergate, with the word "president" excised. I just grabbed the first thing lying around.

    • Sara: Mozzie didn't seem too pleased we were pulling a con on Vulture.
Neal: He has a weakness for notorious scofflaws.

    • Sara: What do we do if the Vulture does come after us?
Neal: Hackers aren't known for their physical prowess.
Sara: Neal, that's not a strategy.
Neal: Look, if the Vulture shows up, we call Peter and the FBI arrests him.
Peter: Oh, so you were gonna call me eventually?

    • Elizabeth: Well, in the past, thge Bureau's okayed extravagant stings, right?
Peter: That's right, honey. The Bureau okays them. There are checks and balances -- a notion that goes beyond Neal's comprehension.
Neal: No, I understand checks. It's just the balance that I struggle with.

    • Neal: Sara did complain about my anklet.
      Peter: Ooh.
Neal: I toss in my sleep and she bruises easily.
Peter: How about if I take off your anklet?
      Neal: That'd be great.
Peter: Then we'll see if Sara prefers conjugal visits. 'Cause you'd be in prison.
Neal: As a rule of thumb, you shouldn't have to explain your jokes.

    • Neal: You got yourself a girlfriend.
Mozzie: Neither I nor she would ever thrust such a crude epithet upon ourselves.
