Trivia

FILTER BY TYPE

  • Trivia

    • GOOF: The page in the file Neal requests on the names found in Melissa Calloway's bag reads (repeatedly) "Doctoral Global Initiave," leaving 'Initiative' spelled incorrectly for every entry shown.

  • Quotes

    • Peter: We have to get you out of these restraints.
Neal: (Drugged)Oh, you mean these? (Lifts his arms out of the restraints) What? Never met a lock I couldn't pick... Except my anklet.
Peter: Okay. Come on. (Helps Neal up)
Neal: I don't know what it is, but... You're strong.

    • Neal: Out of all the people in my life... Mozzie, even Kate, you know... you're the only one.
      Peter: "The only one" what?
Neal: The only person in my life I trust.

    • Neal: My head is killing me.
      Elizabeth: Neal? Are you alright?
      Peter: Hey, what about me?
Elizabeth: There's some dishes that need to be washed, Mr. Magic Hands.

    • Peter: Let me tell you a story.
      Neal: That's really not necessary.
Peter: I had a C.I. once, local kid named Jimmy Burger. Raised some money and opened a restaurant on Fifth.
Neal: Let me guess, he called it "Jimmy's Burgers."
      Peter: No.
      Neal: "The Burger Joint"?
Peter: You done? In order to stay in business, he had to do the Mob some favors, but Jimmy didn't like that. So he came to us. He helped us make some cases, but then Jimmy got cocky. He started sticking his nose where it didn't belong. You know what happened?
Neal: It didn't end happily ever after?
Peter: Nope. He took one. Right here. (Taps Neal's forehead)
Neal: Why are you telling me this?
Peter: Because Jimmy Burger is an example of what happens when you try running the show on your own. Don't.

    • Mozzie: (about Peter) Those were his words? "Run with it"?
      Neal: More or less.
      Mozzie: I'm assuming less.

    • Neal: The charity is called Hearts Wide Open.
Mozzie: That is truly menacing. If I made a horror movie, I would definitely call it "hearts wide open."

    • Mozzie: Already I don't trust this woman.
      Neal: Because she drove here?
Mozzie: A New Yorker who does not take the subway is not a New Yorker you can trust.
Neal: I don't take the subway.
      Mozzie: Precisely.

    • Mozzie: You told me to do what you do, so I asked her for dinner.
      Neal: What happened?
      Mozzie: She left. Running.

    • Peter: That was your plan? You did not forge an invitation?
      Neal: I was allowed to?
      Peter: No.

    • Peter: You know, any schlub can pick up a girl at a bar. You want a challenge? Try keeping a beautiful woman happy for ten years running.
Neal: How long has it been?
      Peter: Summer of '98.
Neal: Whoa. You haven't flirted in the 21st century?

  • Allusions

    • When Mozzie is being admitted to the clinic with Neal he is quoting lines from Bruce Willis' movies. Neal calls him Bruce during the rant. Most of the quotes (if not all) are from Die Hard the movie.

    • Neal: I hope there's something fun in there, Nurse Ratched.

A reference to Louise Fletcher's character in the 1975 film One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.
