The one with Regis Philbin? I can't stand the other host.

I share your feelings. I really hope that Regis considers coming back. And besides, no one can remember the new host's name [Mary Viagra or something like that]

I think it was Meridith Veara? Who knows, she just sooooooo boring. Regis was exciting, funny, and understandable. Whil what's her face is boring, doesn't talk that much to the guests, and isn't quite the host...

I like Meredith. I think she's awesome! Regis's voice is annoying to me.

Meredith is better at building up tension after a contestant gives their final answer (especially on the later questions), but overall, I like Regis better.

I hope they bring it back someday. Agreed, Meredith is not exactly the best take-over host of Millionaire but she does a "fair" job of being the host. B.T.W., where is the other Millinoaire show at? I can't find a link to it. . .

They havent made a new episode on 2 1/2 years (summer 2004) so why does it say "On Hiatus" - thats one hell of hiatus!

It burned itself out by being on too much, people got sick of it. Now its just in reruns on Gameshow Network.

Same thing will happen to Deal Or No Deal -

I turned it on today and was surprised to see that Al Roker is apparently hosting the show now. When did that happen???

I was watching it the other day and they had questions concering events from 2006 so I don't know where you got your information from.

The TV.COM Show Summary Page: I guess this show is so dull that no one even bothers maintaining it any more. Apparently there is still a Syndicated version around. But I dont watch the Gameshow network so I had no idea it was still around. Regis doesnt even do the show any more since it went to syndication.

I love this show, Meredith is good but I like Regis better. I wish they'd bring him back for maybe one episode a week and Meredith the rest of the days.

He was just guest hosting for the week. Now, they do guest hosts about 3 times a year. After Roker was Tom Bergeron in May 2007, Tim Vincent in June 2007 and this man named Dave Price in just a month past.

I agree with the majority of people here. In Regis' version, they picked contestants based on actual knowledge. But in Meredith's version, it's mostly just a bunch of clueless New York undiscovered actors and actresses going all "I've got $16,000! Yeeee!" and dancing and jitterbugging around if they get to $8,000. Very few people have won the million or even $250,000 on Meredith's version.

But face it, Regis is never coming back. He's like 78 years old now and he's been through serious heart surgery. And besides, he hasn't hosted for like 4 or 5 years now and that's pretty long time. Who knows? Maybe Meredith's version will turn up sometime and maybe they'll get better contestants.

I truely agree with you i really noticed that too. all of the players are like teenagers who once in a while make it to $25,000 then walk away. I miss the old version very much

I like them both, but the Meredith version has not seen a winner in a long time, so let's hope we have one this summer. Here's a link for more information on auditions:
