  • Ten new superheroes are trying to become the next greatest superhero chosen by Stan Lee. It was an average episode, but I have seen better.

    8.2
The episode started with the showing of people auditioning to become the next great superhero. After making his decisions he sent last years winner Feedback to tell them that they have been selected to participate. Their first challenge was to free Stan who was kidnapped by a villain. The two teams were given a certain amount of time to get too him, but one team failed. But, Stan was the villain and had faked his own kidnapping. Later, they were told to go to a man whose store had been robbed, but this was only a test when the man tried to distract them by asking them questions about their costumes. They all did okay on the trick except for Braid who told him about her self the entire time. At the elimination Stan chose Braid, Mr. Mitzvah, and Ms. Limelight to be nominated for elimination and in the end Stan eliminated Braid because of her poor showing in the challenge. Overall, this was an average episode, but it could get much better.moreless
  • Bye Bye Braid

    9.5
well i have to say this season seems to have better superheros and i find myself having a hard time chooseing my favorite. by costume i would say the trash girl but i dont know if i like her personality, sometimes i did and other times i didnt. i really started to like higena she is very nice and i really like her, hyper boy i liked also and the police man, though he did start to annoy me with his leading all the time but he seems really nice. i liked the dimond dude also. the first task was really cool but i was so disapointed that both teams forgot the keys. the lost vase was fun too watch. and then the last one where you had to help the other people, that one i had trouble watching cuz most of them ignored the people who needed help and i was just like omg. so the elimination was interesting. mr. mitsva(cant spell) i thought should have gone, he was just kinda rude and annoying. though i thought that mr. mitsva should have gone i think that stan chose good braid really didnt have an impact on any thing. ms. limelight is another person that i dislike some times and the other times i like her, so im not so sure. all i know is that i cant wait to see the next episode!moreless
  • Although from here we can see that the series as a whole has changed, this episode is almost exactly the same as the season one premiere.

    7.5
Stan Lee's Who Wants to be a Superhero as become very popular. Most of it comes from it's unconventional presentation. Although in reality, it is a reality show, it is presented as a fantasy world. Random people who have an idea for a superhero can enter the show for a chance to have their superhero become a star in the comics and the movies. Last year's winner was Feedback, which now has his own comic book series and a TV movie coming soon. But to get that, that person must humiliate themselves by dressing up as their superhero and go thru a series of tasks that will show them what it takes to be a superhero (minus the superpowers, of course).

So does the show work? Yes. It is a great show and very fun, if you don't mind it's massive post-production editing. People wonder if the show is staged, it's not. It just appears that way, thanks to the silly low-budget special-effects they add later. But the people are real, the stakes are real, and the prize is real.

This episode marks the start of the show's second season, giving another 11 people the chance to have their superhero immortalized. Stan Lee has learned a lot from last season, and adds a few suprises to the season. For example, the tasks are more harder and more exciting. The are more supervillians. Stan Lee even captured himself. It makes for a very exciting season.

The new cast is above avarage, with their superheroes being more and less like other superheroes. The people from the auditions had better super heroes than what actually made it into the show! One example is HOMELESS MAN!!!, which never made it into the show. These and other auditions make the current cast look a little generic. Then again, so was last years, and they became quite special towards the end of the season.

The show has a bright future, but this episode is kinda "already been done" by it's last season counterpart.moreless
  • their bigger their badder , their SuperHeros

    8.0
Okay so the time has finaly come season 2 has started. Miss Limelight ; i got striaght A's in school , wow miss limelight is really dumb , what kinda wack a** school did you go 2 where they gave you all A's ? So they finally entered the layer and they are thrown into the ringer from the get go. they have to save Stan from some dude in a cloak. So they have to fight the air wind and water to save him. The defuser think he the boss all of a sudden ,okay okay. So the blue team completes the challenge , Whip Snap falls and loses time to get the key. Whip Snap; i failed Stan. I like Whip Snap just because shes like Feedback in the sense she really wants to be here and she really wants to win. so then the heros go to investigate a store owner who was just robbed. Braid starts to talk about herself , damn b**** get to what your supposed to do. Mr Mitvah is a loner and hes a little rude too now what if he wins " Mr Mitvah sworn to defeat his arch nemisis , Mel Gibson or what about Parthenon " Parthenon out to defeat the evil gay hating Isiah Washington, ha ha ha i swear some of these dudes are so funny. so they go outside and their tires are missing and im thinkin whats going on something dont seem to fit correctly why are all those people their , so it turns out the heros had to help the people around the scene. you have to remember every challenge has a twist. the first one wasnt about if they could pull it off or not , it was how well you worked with your team the second test wasnt if you could solve the crime it was how well you do under stress. so the bottom three is Miss Limelight Braid and Mr Mitvah and Stan sends home Briad do i think he sent her home for the right reasons , yes yes i do. so the winner for this one is The Defuser because he took charge the loser is MR Mitvah for just being really annoying. the lesson for this one , when your in the street never say outloud " have you seen my nuts " yeah its just not good for buisness , and if anything else always look around to see if others need help.moreless
