Who's Watching the Kids

Show Summary

This sitcoms was less than successful--not only for its twisted plot outline, but for its crazy characters. Who's Watching the Kids? was a fun, kids sitcom--set in Las Vegas, Nevada--about two kids... Frankie Vitola (15) and Melissa Turner (9), who lived with their two young adult sisters, who worked both as night parents, and as daytime showgirls at the third-rate local nightspot, Club Sand Pile. Angie was Frankie's sister, and Stacy was Melissa's. Since the girls could basically be tending to their siblings at night, their neighbor, Larry, worked at KVGS as a news anchorman--was asked to please "watch the kids" during the daytime. Mitzi, the emcee at the club, was also the landlord of everyone. Bert Gunkel was Larry's clutsy cameraman, whom also lived in the apartment building and helped Larry watch the kids, and Memphis was the main attraction of Club Sand Pile.

  • Yet another Scott Baio star vehicle that bombed!

    1.3
Not sure how I stumbled across this moldy oldie. But I do vaguely remember this show only because as a kid I loved Happy Days and watched most shows that its stars were in - at least some of them.

Baio is currently starring in how own reality TV show where is 45 and still single. This show is part of the reason why Baio is such a mess these days. Other than some success with "Charles in Charge" he's had more than his share of bombs. Hes been reduced to C-List former child star with emotion problems. So sad.

Is this show as bad as "Joanie Loves Chachi"? Well this show has a 2.2 rating while JLC has 2.3. Its neck in neck at the finish line... STOP THE PRESSES.... WWTK has just climbed to 2.5 - 8/27/2007 - restoring JLC as the worst Baio star vehicle.... even worse than BLANSKY'S BEAUTIES (bet you never heard of that one!)moreless
