Authors: Death of a Stand-Up Comic is read by: Jim: Agatha Christie Steve: Andrew Morton Paul: Hello! Magazine Tony: the rhyming couplets of Rupert Bear. Film and Theatre Styles: Paul is a jailer and Tony his prisoner/ Styles: horror, children's nativity, film noir, Doctor Who, and pirate film. Foreign Film Dub: Jim(translated by Paul) and Steve(translated by Tony) act out the Turkish film Going to Scotland. Scenes From a Hat: Buying a doll with a pull-out string; deep sea divers watching a football match; a pecking order for fruit; queen bee selecting a suitor; odd things to celebrate; strange caveman inventions; things you wouldn't expect to find in a kangaroo's pouch; and joy-riding elephants. Props: The teams are: Jim & Paul with pink ice cream scoops Steve and Tony with white heart-shaped fans. Alphabet: Jim and Paul are in a confessional, starting with 'J'. Scene To Music: Jim and Steve are at the greengrocers with detective theme music. Party Quirks: Paul hosts: Steve: a racing commentator Jim: thinks Paul is giving birth Tony: a Chippendale dancer.
