    Trivia, Notes, Quotes and Allusions

    FILTER BY TYPE

    • TRIVIA (3)

      • Instead of coming back from commercial with Drew saying welcome back, it came back with Wayne at Drew's desk recoding "my ass" into his tape recorder, which he played after Helping Hands not knowing it was there. This is the only time that there was something special right after the commercial break.

      • Drew had a tape recorder with "1000 points each" recorded on it so he didn't have to say it himself.

      • As "Helping Hands" is buzzed, Kathy says the f-word in regards to the game, and is not bleeped by the censors. Maybe they thought the buzzer was a good enough censor of the word, but it could be still be heard pretty well.

    • QUOTES (6)

      • Drew: The points are like Oktoberfest in Israel.

      • Drew: (on tape) One...thousand points.
        Wayne: What's that?
        Ryan: It's your tri-corder?
(Drew turns on the tape recorder again)
        Drew: (on tape) One...thousand points.
Drew: I'm trying to work it where I don't have to show up at all.
        Ryan: Damn close. (laughter)
Drew: We're gonna miss you, Lewis.

      • (before Hollywood Director)
Wayne: Why I got to be the thief?
Drew: I don't know. (laughter) I think--You know, maybe you should count your blessings. If this was NBC, you probably wouldn't even be on this show.

      • Kathy: (during the credit reading) Who really cares when you're taking a shower?

      • (after Helping Hands)
Drew: You know, just for old time's sake...(presses Play)
Wayne: (on tape) My ass, my ass, my ass, my ass...

      • Wayne: (during Hollywood Director) Give me all the...gas!

    • NOTES (2)

      • At the end of Living Scenery, Ryan uses Kathy as a moped. When Drew buzzes the end of the game, Kathy goes into her little goat dance from Episode 120. Most likely the two shows are from the same taping; Kathy is wearing the same green shirt and both episodes are from 734-4xx episode numbers.

      • Almost everyone on the show cracks up when Colin decided not to make the obvious burnt waffle joke when Wayne was the living scenery prop toaster.
