  • Trivia

  • Quotes

    • Drew: I'm Drew Carey and I feel pretty, oh, so pretty.

    • (after Living Scenery)
Drew: So, what was was that like, sliding down Miss America? Fun?
Colin: Better than playing Wayne as a fiddle.
Wayne: So says you. (laughter) 'Dear Diary, today I became a man.'

    • (after Hollywood Director)
Drew: 2000 points to Kathy Griffin for kissing Ryan!
      Kathy: Yeah!
Colin: I never get 2000 points for kissing him.
Drew: That's 'cause you like to kiss him.
Ryan: It's gotta be on the show.

    • (SFAH, Mr. Rogers appearances)
Wayne: All right, Apollo, give it up for Mr. Rogers!!!
Ryan: Well, yes, I'd have to say that is my final answer.
Kathy: I'm Britney Spears from Las Vegas, and I'm gonna do my curtain call with my good friend Mr. Rogers!
Ryan: Well, I'm gonna have to vote out Billy.

    • (SFAH, unusual things to borrow from a neighbor)
Kathy: Suzanne, I need to borrow your husband.
Colin: Hi. I need some monkey testicles and a cola.

    • Colin: (in Director, after the sexy German movie didn't work) Well, it was German.

    • Wayne: (in Song Styles, introducing the boy band)
      I'm T.K.
      I'm B.J.
      I'm J.J.
      And I'm O.K.

    • Drew: The points are just like your laserdisc player.

    • (during Hollywood Director, stand-up comics)
Wayne: She's red on top but you ought to see her greens.
Ryan: Boo! We've heard it! You suck!
Wayne: Well. you have fun at her 18th hole.
Colin: You know, we are owned by Disney.

    • Colin: (in Director) As Rodgers and Hammerstein said, 'The hills are alive with the sound of crap!'

  • Notes

    • This episode less-than-ironcially reran for the first time on July 4, 2003.

    • It is likely that had this not been among the last group of Whose Line tapings, Kathy Griffin was going to become a regular guest performer.

  • Allusions

    • Colin Mochrie: "By the way, nice Moms Mabley!"
During Hollywood Director, Colin throws this reference pulled from seemingly out of nowhere to Wayne. Jackie 'Moms' Mabley was one the most successful entertainers of the black vaudeville stage circuit. Despite living to 81, she only ever appeared in 5 films and a handful of TV shows, though.
