I know this will be an unpopular topic, but I want to say I'm glad ABC-FAM made their decision in enough time for the writers to bring the story to a clean finish. I was a fan of JOAN OF ARCADIA, which the idiots at CBS cancelled in the middle of a story line leaving everything up in the air. I even read a New York Times article that argued that studios' willingness to cancel ongoing shows in mid-story (their example was JERICHO) is one of the things that keeps television from being a respectable art form -- who would buy half a painting or half a book?

I agree. I've had a view shows end on me when things were still left up in the air a little bit, and I don't know it sort of takes away from the whole show for me. I don't think it's that abcfamily made the announcement in time, I think they must have figured going in that this would be their last year. I mean if they didn't I don't think they'd have Kris and Junior getting back together and getting married right now.

The cast signed to 6 year contracts. They did not know fourth could be their last. The producers paid attention fanbase wanting kris and junior together permantly, that why a wedding set up season four finale.

I did not know that the actors signed on for 6 year contracts. If that is so, why is it ending at season 4?

Well, when actors sign contracts that's just to make sure that they will stay on the show if it continues for that amount of time. It doesn't mean that the show will be on for that long.

I completely agree. I am a fan of Gilmore Girls and Crossing Jordan, oh and also Woman's Murder Club, which were all cut short with not so great endings. Some one needs to tell these people that they are cancelling great shows without the endings they deserve!!!!!!

I miss this show so much...I actually dreamed that ABC Family brought it back, I wish that could really happen, but it most likely won't. I am glad that it had such a great finale even though there will be no more Wildfire, no more actually looking forward to Monday's. It will always be my favorite show and a great memory when I get older.

It was kind of rushed finale. Wildfire deserves another year or two. More Individual Storylines now that the triangle has been squashed. Sooner or later ABC Family will see their mistake. I don't think Middleman is doing that well....they were expecting kyle xy fandom. Rating have not been released. Now, they are changing the timeslot to 10pm....ouch.

I agree I'm not happy that Wildfire ended, but I'm happy that it ended the way I wanted.
