  • One of my favorites!

    9.9
i thought this has got to be one of the greatest season. it was heartfelt, and amazingly funny. will & vince are a great couple. i even originally thought grace & leo were a hot couple, but when leo cheated i wanted him gone. even tho will & vince are gay, they are a nice couple and i was mad to see vince leave him, not long after this episode. this family in this episode was incredibly funny, they had the lesbian daughter, the mother, the older looking 16 year old son who got to feel karen's enormous rack, and grace's. . .assets. it was so hot that part. i love this episode, and i love will & grace & jack & karen!

  • TRIVIA (1)

  • QUOTES (8)

    • Karen: (to Olivia) Seems like just yesterday I was holding you in my arms and then frantically passing you off to a nanny.

    • Jack: I kind of like eating dinner without Grace. There's enough for seconds and nobody stabs my hand with a fork when reaching for a lamb chop.

    • Rosario: This year, I'm making your figgy pudding with rat poison and Ajax.
      Karen: But no raisins.

    • Rosario: Oh, Miss Karen can I stop for a minute? My back is hurting.
Karen: Keep going, I didn't hear anything snap.

    • Olivia: What are you doing?
Karen: I'm hanging out with my step-daughter.
Olivia: You're embarassing me! And that's hard to do. I was dropped off at school by a 700-pound man.

    • Karen: There go my Christmas plans of sitting in a dark room and drinking!
Jack: And there go my Christmas plans of turning you so you don't choke on your own vomit.

    • Grace: Okay, Al-alright, I, I need to think here. Think Grace, think, think.
Will: Interesting that you have to remind yourself to do that.

    • Rosario: Ms. Karen, we have a little visitor.
Karen: Oh for God sakes, I'm not your mother. You know where the tampons are.
Rosario: It's your step-daughter Olivia, you Ghost Of Christmas Passed-Out.
Karen: Oh Rosie, I love it when your slams turn seasonal.

  • NOTES (3)

    • Paolo Presta, who won a guest appearance on "Will & Grace" from Oprah on her "Oprah's Wildest Dreams Show," appears in this episode.

    • The episode was originally titled "E-Mail Trouble" The reason was the old story included the plot point quoted as "an e-mail gaffe dogs Grace, fearful that she missent a nasty note to Will's mom."

    • This episode was the FIRST episode of Will & Grace to ever be filmed and shown on NBC in HDTV.

  • ALLUSIONS (2)

    • Rosario: It's your step-daughter Olivia, your Ghost Of Christmas Passed-Out.

This is a funny reference to the 1843 book by Charles Dickens, A Christmas Carol, in which Scrooge is visited by various ghosts, including the Ghost of Christmas Past.

    • Karen: Smack the bitch up!
A quick and funny reference to the song "Smack My BItch Up" from the band Prodigy.
