Goof: Rudy says that he'll take Will back to the sound check and meet Barry if Will goes out with him after the concert and Will calls it "sexual blackmail". Being a lawyer himself, Will should know it's actually not blackmail; it's extortion (since Rudy is trying to get a date with Will). If he was blackmailing Will, he could have said something like, "Go out with me or I'll tell everyone you're a Fanilow." because he would have an embarrassing secret on him that he could use against him.
Sara Gilbert will later appear in TWINS, another show produced and created by David Kohan and Max Mutchnick.
Grace: My mother is across the street having dinner with Jack. What do you think's going on?
Will: What do you care? You didn't want to see her, you're not seeing her.
Grace: I know, I'm just curious. I'm a naturally curious person who's interested about how things work in the world.
Will: I thought you were a naturally lazy person who didn't care how things happen as long as you didn't have to do them.
Grace: Oh, yeah. That's who I am.
Grace: (tearfully to Bobbi about Jack) Not betta him than me... betta me than him!
Karen: So you and Barry are lovers?
Cheryl: God, no. I wish! I've never even met him. But he has brought me to climax more times than any other man.
Jack: Karen, Grace is after me! If you see her, fire a warning shot into her hair! What are we in line for? God, from the looks of this crowd, I hope it's birth control.
Grace: Betta him than me! That's right, betta him than me!
Cheryl: (to Karen) Don't talk to her anymore unless you want to hear that "better him than me" thing like a thousand more times.
Karen: This is Cheryl. She's a fanilow.
Cheryl: The man makes me happy.
Karen: This is Jackie. He's a fagilow.
Jack: The mens make me happy, too.
(after Grace storms out of the restaurant)
Bobbi: Such drama. She's never forgiven me for being the prettier sister.
Karen: What's up, Honey? I couldn't understand your message. "Some mary needs a line of blow?"
Grace: I'm in line for Barry Manilow.
Barry Manilow: Yeah, I gotta go to the Copacabaño!
This spoofs Barry's own song and 1985 TV Movie Copacabana. Baño is the Spanish word for bathroom.
