The opening titles have been changed for the first time since season 4.
Karen and Lyle split up after 20 minutes of marriage and Jack mentions that he and Stuart have broken up because Jack cheated. Neither Lyle nor Stuart will appear on the show again.
After actress Debra Messing (Grace) gave birth to her first child in the spring of 2004, and after a 4-episode hiatus, she finally returns to the show, at the start of this season.
Will: (To the delivery men helping Grace) If you're waiting for her to tip you, you're going to be waiting a really long time.
Grace: (after a pause) Well, didn't you hear the man?
Will: She wants you to go, dude.
Will: I get really straight when I'm angry.
Jack: Grace, I'm really sorry about Leo. You know, Stuart and I broke up also because of infidelity. But I understand why you cheated, and I know why I did. Cheating feels good.
Grace: Leo cheated on me, dumb ass.
Jack: Well, trust me. He really enjoyed himself.
Grace: Hey, Will. Look what I got.
Will: Isn't that Leo's massage chair?
Grace: Not anymore. He cheated on me. Which gives me the constitutional right to wait 'til he goes to work. Then sneak in and take as much as two Ukranian day laborers can carry.
Jennifer Lopez: How's married life treating you?
Karen: Oh, it lasted 20 minutes.
Jennifer Lopez: And that's short, right?
Grace: Did you think I wouldn't find out?
Leo: You found out because I told you.
Grace: I would've found out myself. I know people.
Leo: In Cambodia?
Grace: Yes Cheater, in Cambodia!
Lopez: I got you a job as a dancer for Janet Jackson.
Jack: JANET JACKSON?! That's way better than dancing with... I mean that's okay!
A soundtrack and a book devoted to Will & Grace were released the week of the season 7 premier.
This is the first episode aired after the show moved to the Thursday 8:30 slot after Joey.
Upon its original airing, this was a 45-minute "super size" episode that began at 8:35 p.m. E.S.T. Some scenes are cut in the syndicated version of the episode.
Karen: (After J. LO. signs Karens "bra") I call it Hard Rack Cafe.
This is a reference to the restaurant chain Hard Rock Cafe.
Jack: And look at you Grace, you're magically delicious!
Karen: Manly, yes--but I like her, too!
A funny reference to the old commercials for Lucky Charms cereal and Irish Spring soap, both with Irish themes.
