  • Great episode.

In this episode, Will and Grace move out of their apartment to get a newer and bigger place so they will have more room and space. They think it will help their relationships with each other and others. They soon learn that it doensn't work when they live far apart, even if it is in the same house. I loved the humor in this episode when they are looking for each other around the house.

Then, of course Karen's mother comes and Karen refuses to be nice or kind to her. From her childhood she remember without drinking or being drunk, she knows her mother means trouble and uses her to get money or something else she wants from other people. It was very touching the way Karen and her mother Lois worked everything out in the end. It was clever for the writers to give us or add some family information for Karen earlier in the series run like they did for Jack, Will, and Grace.
  • Karen helps her mother out one more time...

What a funny episode! The classic comedy moment is when Karen gets dressed up to look "poor and slow" - to help her mother in a scam. The look on Grace's face when she sees Karen is a crackup!!! Karen also has some good scenes in the bar where she reluctantly meets her mother. This is a great storyline and Karen/her mother make a great pairing. The other storyline with Will/Grace regretting moving out of the old apartment and trying to get Rob/Ellen out is also funny. Again, Grace has a great scene when she denies that she knew Will gouged Rob on the rent and walks off! Very, very funny.
