Goof: When Jack comes in the apartment, he has on a fake mole that mysteriously disappears after Will leaves.
This is Nathan's (Woody Harrelson's) final apperance as a series regular.
Will and Grace's outgoing message on their answering machine is a parody of the 80's hit "Who Can It Be Now" by Men At Work.
This is the first episode in which Landry Albright (Nancy) appears. She reprises her role again in "He Shoots, They Snore".
The song that Jack danced to at Elliot's dance is "Pop" NSYNC.
Response: If you notice, Karen says "Good morning" often regardless of the time of day. Usually it means SHE just woke up from one of her drunken moments.
When Karen walks into the office with her bodyguard, she says "Good Morning", and when Nathan drops by during the same scene he asks Grace if she's ready to go to dinner.
Editor's note: Regarding the above goof, it is very possible that Karen was just confused.
The cut off point in syndication is when Grace walks in, sees all the guys on Will's bed and says "Oh, my God. I've turned another one." The opening credits for "part 2" appear after Will says Hanna's daddy's are losers.
This episode makes reference to Jack being a doctor. Eventually he does become a nurse in Season 6.
This episode introduces the character of Jack's biological son Elliot, who becomes a regular during the next season.
Goof: In the first couple of scenes (the coffee house & back at the apartment), the right sleeve cuff of Grace's shirt changes from "messed up" (folded under) to straight and "fixed" quite often.
When Vicky (Nathan's ex) comes into his bedroom she leaves the door partway open. But when she goes to leave, she has to reopen the door.
This marks the third appearance of Val Bassett, played by Molly Shannon. After her Season 2 appearance, she was asked to come back and do Val again. She reprised the role several times throughout the series.
The bald guy looking down Molly Shannon's chest is writer/producer Adam Barr.
Anyone notice that Sean had his head turned away for a little extra long time when he was pushing Molly out the door? That's because he couldn't stop laughing at the scene. This is the best out of 12 takes.
The Atom Bar was named for the show's writer/producer Adam Barr.
This marks the first appearance of Woody Harrelson as Nathan, which was quickly turned into a 2-season role.
So just for the sake of continunity... how did Nathan know about Will & Grace's relationship? She doesn't know him or anything about him, but he seems to know exactly hat's going on with them. What's the deal?
Jack's novel is called To Weep and to Willow: A Harlequeen Romance.
