On the DVD version of this episode, Will calls Karen "Carol" shortly after Karen breaks up the kiss between Will and Malcolm.
On the East Coast broadcast of this episode right before the scene where Grace is asking Jack's opinion on her lingerie, you can hear the director cue Debra to enter.
Just before the "majorly assassinated" scene, on the East Coast, Malcolm pulls Will into the hall, but on the West Coast, they start in the hall.
On the East Coast, Grace said something about her hair getting her out of something in school, while on the West Coast she skipped it. Debra Messing and Sean Hayes had trouble not laughing through that whole scene on both coasts.
On the East Coast, Will says that bringing ice cream sandwiches to a gay man is hostile, while on the West Coast he suggested ice cream sandwich scented candles instead.
On the East Coast, Will says that he thought Karen had a tail, but on the West Coast he says that he's seen her catch flies with her tongue.
On the East Coast transmission, Will says that when he talked to Stan, he was eating 14 chalupas, but on the West Coast he was drinking a meatball shake.
The opening shot of this episode was of James Burrows in the production truck, counting down to showtime.
Continuity Error: Upon hearing the news of Stan being alive, Grace says it can't be true because they scattered a trashbag full of his ashes. However, in the Season Five episode 24 we see Rosario bringing in popcorn containers of Stan's ashes.
Goof: In the scene where Karen plays her theme song for Jack's new talk show Megan Mullally's black shorts are visible under her skirt when she starts playing but have disappeared by the end of the song.
We learn in this episode that Stan Walker is still alive, and apparently faked his death due to government problems.
At one point, the morning paper is split into three sections on the dining table. When Jack walks in, there's only two pieces with no one touching or moving them around.
Tom's wife was doused when she didn't know who won the Tony for Best Featured Actress in a Musical in 1975--the answer is Dee Dee Bridgewater as Glinda in The Wiz.

The end of the original half-hour episode comes when Grace walks around the Ram at the museum.
In the scene where Grace is reminiscing about college to Karen, she says, "Tell me more. Tell me more, like does he have a car?", a line sung by Marty in Grease. In 1994, Megan Mullally, who plays Karen, starred as Marty in Grease the Broadway Revival.
When Karen says over the speaker that "Beverly Leslie is a homosexual", the shot that shows at that point is several years old (before 2001). How can you tell? First, there is a Concorde in the dock when all have been dismantled. But the biggest giveaway is downtown NYC. The Twin Towers are still visible.
Goof: Listen when Tom touches the artifact, it's hollow.
Continuity Error: In this episode, Karen says that she used plant food to make her breasts grow, however in the episode "Board Games," Karen tells Will that she took horse pills.
Jack's acting students, Joanne and Russell, were last seen in the episode "Me & Mr. Jones."
