  • Will The Real Jerry Lewis Please Sit Down was a Saturday morning cartoon show which ran on ABC from 1970 to 1972.

I remember this show growing up in the early 70\'s. This is a very funny Saturday morning cartoon show. The slapstick was great! Unfortunately, slapstick is pretty much barred from TV cartoon shows today because of political correctness. Filmation did a great job with the animation and stories for this show. David L. Lander was the perfect choice to voice Jerry. He sounded just like Jerry. One of the things I loved the most of this cartoon show was the opening and closing theme songs as well as the visual sequences for the themes. I loved seeing all the different characters of Jerry all together. Great show!!
